A loaf of properly made sourdough, a perfectly crusted baguette, a soft focaccia glistening with olive oil – these are not complicated things to produce, but they require technique, and technique requires guidance.

CHO Bee Labs’ Bread Workshop is a focused, hands-on single-session class in our professional kitchen – designed for home bakers who want to understand bread-making properly and produce a real loaf from scratch in the same day.

Dough Mixing & Development

How to mix and develop a bread dough – when to stop, what the right gluten development feels like, and the difference between an undermixed and properly developed dough. Hands-on, from scratch.

Fermentation & Proofing

The science of yeast fermentation explained practically – what bulk fermentation does to flavour and structure, how to read a properly fermented dough, and how to proof correctly for maximum oven spring.

Shaping

The single most important hand skill in bread-making. Shaping technique for round boules, batards, baguettes, and rolls – building surface tension, creating the structure that holds during the final proof.

Scoring & Baking

Blade technique, scoring patterns, and the oven setup – steam introduction, temperature, and the baking arc from soft crust to deep, caramelised crust with a crisp shatter.

Sourdough Introduction

For participants with some bread experience – an introduction to sourdough culture, how a starter works, and a guided hands-on session with an active sourdough culture so you understand exactly what goes into your first sourdough loaf at home.
