CHO Bee Labs Academy was not built to offer another weekend baking class. It was built to give aspiring bakers, pastry chefs, and food entrepreneurs a place that takes them – and their ambitions – seriously.
Founded by Chef Ritu Mishra in Andheri East, Mumbai, CHO Bee Labs has grown into one of India’s most respected professional baking and pastry institutes. What began as a vision to raise the standard of culinary education in Mumbai is now a 2,800 sq ft institute with four professional kitchens, a nationally certified curriculum, and hundreds of graduates building real careers across the country.

Meet Chef Ritu Mishra
Founder & Lead Mentor
Chef Ritu Mishra is a pastry chef, culinary educator, and entrepreneur with over 22 years of experience in the food industry. She holds a professional Diploma in Pastry Arts and spent 12 years in business and HR leadership before channeling everything she had learned – about people, systems, and excellence – into building CHO Bee Labs.
Her culinary range spans French patisserie, modern entremet construction, chocolate artistry, artisan bread, eggless baking, and global dessert trends. Her teaching philosophy is personal and high-standard: she knows every student by name, tracks their progress closely, and pushes them toward outcomes they didn’t think were possible when they enrolled.
Chef Ritu made a deliberate decision to build India’s most comprehensive eggless baking curriculum – not as an afterthought, but as a core pillar of the institute. She understood before most that India’s vegetarian market was underserved by professional pastry education, and that a baker trained in eggless techniques holds a genuine competitive advantage in this country.
Her graduates are now working in five-star hotels, running home bakery businesses, launching café brands, and leading pastry teams across India and abroad. Their success is her measure of what this school has built.

At CHO Bee Labs, every course is designed around three principles: technical mastery, real-world application, and business thinking. Our students don’t just learn how to make a perfect croissant – they understand the lamination science behind it, the costing of it, and how to sell it profitably.
This approach was deliberate. Chef Ritu saw a gap in Mumbai’s culinary education landscape – talented bakers who lacked the professional foundation to compete in five-star kitchens, and passionate entrepreneurs who had the drive to open a bakery but not the training to run one. CHO Bee Labs was built to close both gaps at once
