THSC & NSDC Certification

THSC & NSDC certification - for diploma students

Students who complete CHO Bee Labs’ diploma programmes receive certification from THSC (Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council) and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) – two of India’s most respected bodies for professional vocational skill certification.

THSC is the official skill council for India’s tourism and hospitality sector under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Its certifications are recognised by leading hotels, restaurants, culinary businesses, and hospitality employers across India.

NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) is a nationally respected skill certification body with recognition across government, industry, and international hospitality sectors. A THSC & NSDC certification from CHO Bee Labs demonstrates industry-recognised skills and adds credibility when applying for professional opportunities.

THSC & NSDC certified credentials are awarded upon successful completion of select diploma programmes at CHO Bee Labs.

These include the 6-Month Advanced Diploma in Pastry Arts, 6-Month Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts, and 4-Month Diploma in Eggless Pastry Arts. These programmes combine practical training with recognised certification, helping graduates build stronger career opportunities in the hospitality and food service industry.

CHO Bee Labs certificate of completion - for all other programmes

Students who complete certification courses, short baking courses, masterclasses, the 4-week intensive programme, and online certificate programmes receive a CHO Bee Labs Certificate of Completion.

This certificate is issued on the CHO Bee Labs Academy letterhead, bearing Chef Ritu Mishra’s signature and the course details. It represents the completion of professional-standard training at one of Mumbai’s most recognised baking institutes – and carries the credibility that comes with that.

For home bakers, entrepreneurs, and professionals who are not entering formal employment, this certificate is a meaningful professional credential that reflects a real investment in skill development.

Online course certification

Students who complete CHO Bee Labs’ online certificate programmes receive a CHO Bee Labs Certificate of Completion – the same credential as our in-person short course graduates, reflecting completion of the full online curriculum.

Certification faq's

THSC & NSDC certifications are India-specific professional credentials. In international contexts, they are recognised as credible Indian national skill certifications. CHO Bee Labs diploma graduates have used their credentials to secure positions and internships internationally – the certificate’s credibility is reinforced by the training it represents.

Workshop participants receive a CHO Bee Labs Participation Certificate – a record of attendance and completion rather than a professional qualification credential.

For diploma programmes, certification is based on ongoing practical assessment throughout the course – faculty evaluation of technique, consistency, and professional standard. There is no single written exam. Assessment is practical, continuous, and based on real kitchen performance.
